Each age group has a first aid kit and further first aids including a stretcher and foil blanket are available in the club house.

A telephone is located in the main clubhouse behind the bar and remember that most people carry a mobile phone.

In the event of an emergency on the club premises or playing areas, please follow the steps below:


  1. Keep the casualty warm and comforted in accordance with first aid procedures
  2. To summon pitch-side help blow three long, loud whistle blasts.
  3. Have a responsible person call the emergency services. Call 112 (from a mobile phone) or 999. The club address is: Marston Ferry Road, Summertown, Oxford OX2 7EE.
  4. Make sure that the responsible person reports back that the emergency services are responding. If in doubt dispatch a second person to call the emergency services.
  5. Locate a qualified first aider, using the list above.
  6. Report all details of serious accidents and injuries to the Welfare Officer for recording in the club’s Accident Book and if, necessary, reporting to the Health and Safety Executive.
