Club sponsors sought for 2010-11 season

The Oxford Harlequins Minis and Juniors are looking for a number of partners who can contribute to the development of the club and its Marston Ferry site through sponsorship. Such sponsorship is primarily for the benefit of local young people - not only to improve a sporting venue for the learning and playing of rugby but also to contribute to the well-being, fitness and social development of all the players at the club.
The benefits for sponsors are several fold. The club currently has in excess of 300 active and registered players from the ages of 6 through to 17. The catchment area of the club predominantly covers North Oxford and Headington and includes many of the private schools in the city centre as well as The Cherwell and Cheney High Schools in the North and West of the city. A sponsor would have exposure to all these players (and also their parents and supporters) through the Minis and Juniors website (www.oxfordharlequinsjuniors.co.uk), club communications and also advertising, including sponsors’ logos on match shirts as well as advertising media and events within the club house such as the continuation of sponsors’ exhibitions on match and training days.
The Oxford Harlequins Minis and Juniors section continues to play at the Marston Ferry ground between Summertown and Headington and is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and on-going development of the club house and also the grounds which it shares with The Cherwell School. Sponsorship allows the club to apply for matched funding for many projects such as lighting and pitch improvements as well as funding specific projects and expenses.
The Minis will move to a new strip for the 20010/2011 season (the Juniors having already made the change this season) and this alone offers a rare chance for sponsors to have their logos on the club playing strips for the next two seasons depending on the degree of sponsorship.
